FAQ

How long does the Cookie last?
Typically a few days to about a week. Once expired, simply log back into Xiaohongshu web and use the extension to extract a fresh one.
Can I archive other users' accounts?
Yes! The Cookie is your own login credential used only to access Xiaohongshu. The profile URL determines whose posts are archived — all public posts are supported.
Why is a Cookie required?
Xiaohongshu's pagination API requires an authenticated session. Without a Cookie only the first ~30 posts can be retrieved; a valid Cookie enables full pagination.
How long does archiving take?
Depends on post count. About 3–5 minutes for 50 posts, 12–15 minutes for 200 posts (including media downloads).
Is my data safe?
Your Cookie is used only during the active archive session and deleted immediately upon completion. Archive data is stored in a temporary server directory and not retained long-term.
Why is there no IP location info?
Xiaohongshu renders IP location via client-side JavaScript after page load; it is not part of the raw source or API response, so no scraper tool can retrieve it.
